the hanged one and the hermit
this morning i fished the hanged one and the hermit out of my deck, because they have been on my mind lately. on the surface, they seem kind of similar - alone, and none too bothered by their situation - but the key difference is, of course, choice. the hermit chooses their solitude; the hanged one usually makes peace with a situation in which they found themself.
(though i think of the story of odin hanging on yggdrasil, who chose to sacrifice himself. there are always complications to a story.)
remember to pay attention, darlings: this is the message of the hanged one. what can you see that you wouldn’t normally be able to? if you feel so called, the hermit enjoys sharing knowledge, and the comments are open if you’d like to share any observations.
you’re doing so great. keep it up.
