heartbreak / betrayal / loneliness //

this card last came up in february, when i said, “yeah, that’s pretty much what 2025 has felt like so far,” and five months later, that still seems true. whomst among us isn’t walking around with at least three arrows to the chest?

anyway. i don’t always read the guidebook entry, especially for cards like this that i am quite familiar with, but i’m glad i read it today, because it contained this wisdom:

remember:
your capacity for sorrow
is the same depth to which you feel joy, you are a single
container.
heartbreak only visits those with a heart.
