the star
hope //
two years ago, writing about the star, i said: “everything echoes in tarot.” in that post, i quote the same passage from lighthousekeeping which i quoted a few weeks ago writing about the fool.
everything echoes - and i do know that part of this is my insistence on holding on to certain threads in my life. i have read lighthousekeeping so many times that parts of it are etched onto my bones; this is something i have done since i was a child, consume something i love over and over and over again until i have integrated it into myself.
so that’s part of it, of course. but part of it is also opening oneself up to the universe, to hearing the echoes it sends out. it’s starting to write this on hope, and echoes, and then reading this beautiful newsletter, and then going on my morning constitutional and spotting a window display full of things that make people hopeful.
the magic of these echoes, of these correspondences, of these sympathies, has always buoyed me. it has always given me hope. listen for echoes this week, my darlings, and may they lift you up.
